Who We Are

We are Kate and Ray, the new owners of The Crafty Floaters.​

We live in Norfolk and have been permanently aboard our wide beam boat for almost 8 years.

'It's About Time' is the name of our home, which came about due to the realisation that time has its own pace on a boat...as you know, there is definitely no hurrying on the water, for us travelling to Norwich takes 15 mins in the car, 7 mins on the train and 2 hours in the boat.

We are thrilled to be taking over this business from Sally and wish her well in her recovery from illness, hoping Sally can now enjoy a wonderful, well-deserved, and peaceful life on the river with her family. Although this is a new venture for us, we will endeavour to carry on her professional standard, and we're both really excited and up for the challenge. Thank you to our existing customers for your patience during this transition period. A warm welcome to our new customers; we look forward to working with you all.
