Help prevent flies, mosquitos, spiders and other insects (as well as blossom and leaves) from entering your boat. This magnetic fly screen is designed to fix to the metal framework of your hatch/stern door without the use of sticky velcro. Allowing them to be left open for free airflow.
Using fibreglass mosquito net and magnets stitched into the edging, the net is designed to fit onto the outside of the boat , giving excellent coverage but allowing fresh air to pass through the screen. Ideal for days when the sun is shining but the insects are swarming.
The net and binding is black, blending well into the background. Each magnet is strong enough to hold 20 sheets of paper onto a fridge.
Handwash in luke warm water when required, without removing the magnets (please do NOT machine wash)
Periodically remove the net and inspect boat and magnets for damage.
Hatch/Stern Door Magnetic Mosquito Net/Fly Screen
Three accurate measurements are required for a good fit.
- The width of the hatch in cm edge to edge of the metal framework.
- The measurement from the back of the hatch to the point where the framework bends for the doors to close.
- The measurement from the bend to the floor.
Please measure in cm and do not add any extra for seams etc as I will be adding this when sewing.
